NEXT STEP
We suggest strongly that you work in an organization or company that AGREES with you. What I mean by that is that the company’s real values should also be their STATED values. and that they align with YOUR values. This authenticity says a lot about the actual integrity of the organization. For instance, if a company has integrity as a stated value and doesn’t actually practice all or some of their stated values, THAT IS A LACK OF INTEGRITY!.
Researching Your Company
Here are some tips beginning a job search:

Find a company you want to work for EVEN IF THEY DON’T HAVE A JOB OPENING FOR YOU!
- Great companies only comprise about 13% of all companies so you’ll need to look for yours. But don’t be discouraged, you’ll find it. Or you can start it!
- If you already have a job please do it well, as you look for the right place for you. If you are unemployed and need to work right away, BY ALL MEANS, get a job that will sustain you, but keep LOOKING!

TIP- Purpose in Your Current Job
Once you discover your two words and begin the integration process in the video I referred to above you’ll begin notice two things:
1. You really do use your Core Competence all this time, but you’ve just never noticed it!
2. You become aware of the reason for the frustration or disappointment you feel when your Core Passion is not being addressed.
NOW it’s time to begin the process of living your two words INTENTIONALLY. @Work!
In conversations- Become aware of people around with whom you get along well or see “eye to eye” or who are “on the same page” as you. Chances are high that you share a similar core competence or core passion. If it is competence your conversation will be productive. If its passion, the subject or the point of your conversation will be similar. But TAKE NOTICE!
In Meetings- ADD to meetings with LCP! My LCP is Understanding Potential. In a meeting, I’ll listen in order to track the direction of the conversation and how people are adding to that direction. I’ll often ask questions out of curiosity and genuine interest (to enhance my understanding). I am asking myself “how can I move this conversation forward?” (Potential) At a point towards the end I will say to the group what I got out of the conversation or what mattered most to me, or what I learned. . (Potential). Think about how you can use your LCP.
